  7.     The hot flick in Pakistan these days is the 3 1/2-hr.
  8. International Guerrillas. It features a Muslim-loathing
  9. terrorist who gets killed by a retributive bolt of divine
  10. lightning. So take that, SALMAN RUSHDIE! Such is the name of
  11. the evil protagonist (played by AFZAL AHMED), not to mention
  12. that of the author of The Satanic Verses, which so angered
  13. Muslims that Ayatollah Khomeini threatened him with death in
  14. 1989. Britain has barred the movie as libelous, but the Muslim
  15. producers intend to fight back. They have an unlikely
  16. defender: Rushdie, in hiding for 17 months, says the film
  17. "should be in the public domain" and any offense dealt with
  18. according to due process of law.
